Brunson House Inc is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to providing safe and supportive housing for youth and young adults in transition. Established in 2023, the organization partners with local agencies to offer stability, guidance, and opportunities for growth. Through compassionate care and evidence-based support, Brunson House empowers residents to build independent, fulfilling lives.
At Brunson House Inc, our mission is to expand access to safe, stable, and dignity-affirming housing for youth and young adults. We believe housing is the foundation for wellness, education, employment, and long-term independence. By partnering closely with community providers, we remove barriers, shorten the path from crisis to stability, and help residents build a future they’re proud of.
Brunson House Inc is a public charity recognized by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) and classified as a Type I supporting organization (IRC 509(a)(3)). Our charitable status became effective May 23, 2023, and our principal correspondence address on file is c/o Bridge Over Troubled Waters, 47 West Street, Boston, MA 02111. Donations to Brunson House are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Trauma-Informed & Dignity-Centered: We create spaces and routines that promote healing, self-efficacy, and belonging.
Collaborative Partnerships: We work alongside trusted community organizations to deliver wrap-around support.
Accountability & Outcomes: We track progress—housing stability, school/work engagement, and resident well-being—and continuously improve.
